He’s been torn between both of the women he loves ever since learning that each one will have a child with him. Now, as Liam continues trying to figure out who he wants a future with, Brooke will make an attempt to sway his decision in Hope’s favor on the Wednesday, July 18 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Liam (Scott Clifton) had been entirely prepared to recommit to a life with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and their daughter, Kelly, until Hope (Annika Noelle) stunned him with the news that she was pregnant with his child. Since then on the CBS soap, he has realized he needs to decide once and for all which woman he wants a true future with, leaving each of them in limbo as he tries to figure out the right answer.

He will go to see Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and as he discusses the fact that he got her daughter pregnant too, he will admit that he has started to realize he should have thought of that possibility when they were engaged, admitting he didn’t even let the thought cross his mind.

“It never even occurred to me that Hope could get pregnant,” he says in a preview clip for the episode. “Yet, in retrospect, of course, it should have.”

Brooke, who has been pushing for Hope and Liam to be together again for good, will like reassure Liam that he didn’t do anything wrong, and could try to convince him that the pregnancy is a sign that he and Hope belong together, since they had only been together the one time, but still managed to conceive.

As Liam continues to admit he’s torn however because he also loves Steffy and wants to take their daughter into account as well, Brooke will remain firm that her daughter is the one he should be with, potentially trying to remind Liam that Hope has ever been unfaithful to him, whereas Steffy did sleep with his father, meaning she is harder to trust.

Of course, she may not need to press so hard, as Bill (Don Diamont) also knows about Hope’s condition, and will likely do whatever he can to use it so he can finally break Liam and Steffy up once and for all.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
