‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: How Will Hope Respond To The Proposal?

She was already emotional because of what the Fourth of July brought her just one year earlier, but now, after an unexpected turn of events during this year’s celebration, Hope will find herself surprised and unsure of what her future might hold on the Friday, July 5 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Hope (Annika Noelle) has found herself emotional this year because not only has she recently learned that Liam (Scott Clifton) did apparently move on with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) by sleeping with her on the CBS soap, but one year ago, the Fourth of July was a special time for her because it was when she revealed to Liam that she was pregnant with their child. Since then the pair had married, but then lost their baby after she died at birth, and they’ve also ended their marriage as a result.

However, this year’s celebration of the holiday, which she’s spending with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri), has now taken an unexpected turn, after Douglas came up to her with an engagement ring and asked her to marry his father and become his mom. Now, she will be forced to make a decision—unsure of what the right answer will be.

“Douglas asks Hope to marry his dad and become his new mommy,” spoilers reveal.

The move will be one that Hope might not feel is right, since she doesn’t love Thomas and only wants to serve as a mother figure to his son—but if Thomas has his way and can figure out a way to manipulate things the way he wants, her decision could be made for her, without her even realizing what’s happening.

Meanwhile, Thomas’ schemes and awful behavior to ensure he gets Hope for himself could be catching up to him, as Xander (Adain Bradley) doesn’t believe his story that he had nothing to do with Emma’s (Nia Sioux) sudden death. As a result, he will start looking more into the night she died and will seek help as he searches for answers.

“Xander enlists Charlie’s (Dick Christie) help with his suspicions regarding Thomas,” spoilers state.
