‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Katie Confronts Ridge About Aborted Wedding To Brooke
Brooke called off her wedding to Ridge unexpectedly in Australia, and now, on the Friday, March 31 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” her sister, Katie, will seek out the former groom to get answers about what drove the couple apart.
Now that they’re back in L.A. and the news that the wedding was called off has been spread on the CBS soap, Katie (Heather Tom) will wonder if her suspicions that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) had an affair with Quinn (Rena Sofer) were correct, and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) accepted it was true. When she runs into Ridge at Forrester, she will then start pestering him for answers, causing him to admit that it was what happened.
“Well, something had to happen!” She says in a preview clip for the episode.
“I kissed her! That’s it!” Ridge replies.
Though she expected to hear that answer since she had caught Ridge and Quinn together seeming too close previously, Katie will still be appalled by Ridge’s answer and his seemingly cavalier way of shrugging it off as not being the same as cheating. As he continues to deny having done anything wrong though, Katie will be forced to remind him of all of the people his actions could hurt, including his father, Eric (John McCook), who is married to Quinn, and his son with Brooke, RJ (Anthony Turpel).

“You betrayed Brooke, you betrayed Eric,” Katie says. “You let RJ believe that his family was going to be together again!”
However, Ridge will be more concerned with who Brooke may turn to now that she’s single again, and he will ask Katie if she believes her sister will once again look to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) for comfort. Though the thought of her sister and her ex-husband still hurts her at times, Katie will be forced to admit that she thinks it could work for the two of them, and if it is meant to be, then nothing will stop it from happening.
“If Bill and Brooke are meant to be together, then they will be,” she says.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
