Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) reveals the secret of what he's been doing in Paris, and his desire to oust Ridge (Thorsten Kaye, not pictured) from Forrester Creations to Eric (John McCook) on the Dec. 14, 2017 episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful."  CBS

He hasn't hesitated to make his presence known since returning to Los Angeles, and now, Thorne will finally reveal what drove him to really come home on the Thursday, Dec. 14 episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful."

Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) was welcomed home by his family on the CBS soap, though Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was suspicious about the sudden return. Since his initial suspicions, he's realized his brother likely has a secret agenda, specifically since he continually rubs the fact that Ridge is actually a Marone and not a Forrester in his face. In addition, since learning that Ridge and Quinn (Rena Sofer) had a brief affair, which ended his engagement to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Thorne has used that info to his advantage, even making moves on his former sister-in-law as part of a competition with his brother.

Now however, he may finally unveil his biggest move of all when he has a conversation with his father, Eric (John McCook), about the future of Forrester. Eric will corner him about what he was doing when he worked in Paris, and Throne will admit it is time to address his real reasons for returning home.

"There it is, the elephant in the room. It's got to be dealt with," he says in a preview clip.

However, what he tells Eric may actually be impressive, and he could use that to change the subject to Ridge and the betrayal he inflicted by trying to seduce Eric's wife. However, since he moved past all of the drama, Eric will warn Thorne that he doesn't want to bring it up again, prompting Thorne to wonder if his father is truly willing to accept everything that happened.

"I want peace in this family," Eric warns in the clip.

"Okay," Thorne replies. "But are you at peace with the way that he treated you?"

Finally, after using Ridge's actions against him, Thorne may decide to tell Eric his ultimate goal. While Ridge thinks his brother is after the CEO chair at Forrester, it may simply be that Thorne is finished letting Ridge have the glory—and he wants him out of the company for good.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
