  • Akshay Kumar praised Ahan Shetty's angry young man look
  • The actor unveiled the poster of "Tadap" and release date
  • The posters reveal it is an action-packed romantic love story

Bollywood headliner Akshay Kumar took to Instagram Wednesday to share the first look of the movie "Tadap," which will star actor Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty.

The 53-year-old actor presented two posters of the feature film -- which will be Ahan's debut -- and recalled seeing Suniel's first film poster in 1992.

"Big day for you Ahan...I still remember seeing your father, @suniel.shetty’s first film, Balwaan’s poster, and today I’m presenting yours," he wrote, taking a trip down memory lane. "So happy and proud to share the poster of #SajidNadiadwala‘s #Tadap *ing @ahan.shetty and @tarasutaria, releasing in cinemas on 24th September!"

Kumar, who couldn't hold back his excitement for "Tadap," praised 25-year-old Ahan for his "angry young man look."

"Totally nailed the angry young man look here, looking forward to watching you on the big screen," he wrote. "Sending all my love and best wishes for #Tadap, in cinemas on 24th September."

In the first poster, Ahan could be seen holding the face of the actress and leaning for a kiss. His face wasn't completely revealed in it. However, in the second poster, he could be seen posing alone on a bike while smoking.

The film is directed by Milan Luthria and co-produced by Fox Star Studios. The poster and the tagline, "an incredible love story" revealed that it will be a typical Bollywood love story comprising dramatic action.

Ahan also took to his Instagram to share the posters and wrote, "He is Fierce, He is Rebellious, and he’s a Lover!"

The film also stars actress Tara Sutaria, who has worked in a popular sitcom, "The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir and Oye Jassie," which was an adaption of the American sitcom “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.” While "Tadap" will mark Ahan's first feature movie, Sutaria had worked in movies like "Student of the Year 2" and "Marjaavaan."

It is not surprising that Kumar was roped in to reveal the film's poster as he and Suniel go back a long way. They have previously worked together in hit movies such as "Phir Hera Pheri," "Dhadkan," "Welcome," etc. The much-appreciated duo may soon be seen together in "Hera Pheri 3," which was confirmed by the creators of the film in May 2018.
