‘Bones’ Season 12 Spoilers: Will Hodgins Walk Before The Final Season Ends?
Fox series “Bones” ended last season on two major cliffhangers. The first was the abduction of Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) who was taken by former assistant Zack Addy (Eric Millegan). The second major cliffhanger revolved around paraplegic Hodgins (T.J. Thyne). He experienced spasms in his leg which gave him hope that he may walk again in the future.
Hodgins’ spasms might indicate that he is regaining some feeling in the lower half of his body. However, it isn’t a hundred percent sure that the entomologist will walk again. But “Bones” rarely gives fans a sad ending. Maybe Hodgins will walk in the series finale?
Unfortunately, it looks like Thyne’s character isn’t going to get rid of his wheelchair anytime soon. According to TVGuide, when Season 12 premieres, “Bones” fans will discover that the doctor who has been prescribing the character’s miracle regime isn’t who he says he is. Hodgins will learn who this doctor really is and this revelation will question his muscle spasms.
This major setback won’t only affect Hodgins but also his wife Angela (Michaela Conlin). The report suggested that he may not be able to overcome this setback emotionally. In fact, he may not walk again ever.
Meanwhile, Fox released the synopsis of Season 12, episode 1. It confirms that Brennan’s husband Booth (David Boreanaz) and the rest of the lab will be searching for her. However, it also states that Brennan’s rescue is just the beginning of their problems. Indeed, the Season 12 premiere photos seem to hint that Zack isn’t The Puppeteer – a notorious serial killer that lives with his dead victims for several weeks.
“Bones” Season 12 will feature an epic serial killer storyline, a wedding and the return of several fan favorite characters. Additionally, the Jeffersonian and the FBI will go undercover in a lumberjack competition for a case.
“Bones” Season 12 premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
