‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Chapter 49 Spoilers, Release Date: Boruto Confronts Isshiki

The foe in the sky above -- Isshiki -- floats over Konoha as the heroes decide their next move against this villain. "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 49 will see Otsutsuki Isshiki’s threat hovering over the village.

Isshiki’s sole mission is to get Kawaki before he dies. The latest spoilers for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 49 shared by Twitter user OrganicDinosaur teases Boruto will confront Isshiki.

In the last chapter, when the heroes learn Isshiki is heading toward Konoha, Boruto announces he wants to fight alongside Naruto and Sasuke. However, Naruto reminds him the enemy is immensely powerful and he can become a liability on the battlefield.

In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 49, Isshiki is reincarnated through Karma and is displaying boundless powers. Boruto, Naruto and Sasuke have gathered information from Amado and they will have a faceoff with Isshiki.

Chapter 48 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" named "Time Limit" starts with Koji Kashin and Isshiki’s battle. Koji notes that Ishhiki is shrinking his jutsu instantly. Koji uses his Ranjishigami no Jutsu or the Art of the Raging Lion’s Mane against the enemy.

However, Isshiki tells him that all his attacks are useless and he cannot defeat him. Isshiki explains that his body is filled with incredible power and because of that it is only a matter of time the power will consume his body. He tells Koji that he only has two or three days left. Koji knows that Isshiki cannot resurrect without Kawaki, who is with Naruto, Sasuke and others in Konoha.

Later, Koji attacks again using Giant Flame Bombs. Koji is aware that Isshiki’s secret jutsu Sukunahikona is an ocular jutsu, and it only activates when sees the target.

Meanwhile, Amado informs that Koji cannot beat Isshiki alone and he needs Sasuke and Naruto. He adds only Naruto and Sasuke have a chance against the incredibly powerful Isshiki.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 49 is scheduled to release Thursday, Aug. 20. The chapter will be available on Viz and Manga Plus.
