'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Chapter 53 Preview, Expected Release Date, With Spoilers

Isshiki continues to dominate the fight against Naruto, Sasuke and Boruto in the other dimension. With Naruto’s form fading away, Boruto is likely to step up and fight Isshiki in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 53. Meanwhile, Kawaki joins Naruto and company when he is sucked into the portal in the previous chapter.

Twitter user Abdul Zoldyck shared the preview for Chapter 53, hinting at something happening to Boruto. Chapter 52’s spoilers suggest that Boruto, who fainted due to pain, will open his eyes toward the end of the chapter.

"If 'Karma' is engraved/marked on your body again it will be the end...!! As the moment of the last move approaches, something happens to Boruto!?" The preview read, according to Zoldyck's tweet.

Manga Plus and Viz are yet to announce the official release date. However, the manga chapter being a monthly issue, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 53 is expected to come out on Dec. 20.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 52 Summary

Naruto and Nine Tails or Kurama talk about the former's new mode after the fusion. Kurama compares the new mode to nuclear fusion. He states that it is like fusing two energy matters to make a new energy source.

However, Kurama warns Naruto against making any unnecessary moves during the battle as they need to conserve the new mode for as long as possible.

Naruto and Isshiki begin the next phase of their fight. With his new form, Naruto is able to overwhelm his opponent. Moreover, the Seventh Hokage blocks Isshiki's attacks.

Meanwhile, Isshiki uses his cubes technique and buries Naruto under giant blocks. Naruto fights back and emerges out of the pile of blocks. Isshiki is surprised to sense this sudden increase in Naruto's power levels.

In another dimension, Kawaki's prosthetic arm starts to move unexpectedly. Later in the chapter, a portal opens, sucking Kawaki into it. Kawaki finds himself next to Naruto, Boruto and others.

Sasuke and Naruto are shocked to see Kawaki. The chapter concludes with Naruto on the verge of losing the battle and just then, Boruto opens his eyes.
