'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Chapter 56 Preview, Spoilers, Release Date: New Challenges Await Boruto

Code is overwhelmed to meet Isshiki Ohtsutsuki as the latter gives him a purpose. Meanwhile, Boruto, Naruto, Kawaki, and Sasuke return to Konohagakure. But Boruto must prepare for new tests in Chapter 56 of the manga.

Twitter user Abdul Zoldyck shared the preview summary for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 56. The preview teases new challenges for Boruto after returning to Konohagakure.

"New test/trials are awaiting Boruto, who just returned to the village!!" the preview for Chapter 56 read.

Code's intention to fulfill the Ohtsutsuki will is likely to unravel when the chapter releases next month.

In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 55, Code awakens and blames Kawaki for supplanting him and becoming the official Ohtsutsuki vessel. He is upset for not having a real Karma. As Code looks at the Karma symbol on his palm, Isshiki Ohtsutsuki appears on it, shocking the former.

With his vessel gone and no place for his soul to dwell, its new destination is Code. Isshiki tells him how he was betrayed by Amado and was compelled to resurrect in Jigen. He says Kawaki's Karma has dissipated, but he is glad Code's Karma has remained, who is not suitable to be a vessel.

Code apologizes as he cannot serve as a vessel for his soul. Isshiki explains his legacy, the non-vessel white Karma, is dwelling inside Code and he announces the latter will inherit the Ohtsutsuki will.

Code is ready to implement the plan and asks for details. Isshiki tells Code to consecrate either Kawaki or Boruto to Ten-Tails and grow a Divine Tree. He adds Code must get the Chakra Fruit, which contains a planet's life in crystallized form, from the Divine Tree and eat it to upgrade his form.

After consuming the Chakra Fruit, he will become a new Ohtsutsuki. He can then go on and eat planets after planets and keep growing until he becomes a peerless existence or a god, which is the Ohtsutsuki will.

He asks Isshiki to give the names of the enemies who destroyed him. Code vows to annihilate them and fulfill the will of the Ohtsutsuki.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Chapter 56 is scheduled to release on March 18. The chapter will be available for online reading on Viz and Manga Plus.
