The COVID-19 pandemic has halted the production of anime and manga. “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” is one of the anime, which has postponed episode 155 and beyond to a later date. The team is yet to announce the release date.

Meanwhile, the network is set to re-telecast “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” from Sunday (May 3).

“Thank you for supporting Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Due to the declaration of a State of Emergency for COVID-19 by the Japanese government, the production schedule for new episodes of the program has been impacted. As a result, we will change the broadcast/streaming schedule for newer episodes,” read the official announcement, via Crunchyroll.

Moreover, Boruto team will be running a special project alongside the rebroadcast. Every week, the voice actors will live tweet during the broadcast.

Meanwhile, in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 155 titled “Mitsuki’s Rainy Day,” Mitsuki is playing with his cat. Mikatsuki takes him to a man who appears to be wounded.

Mitsuki decides to help him. He tells Mitsuki that he has come to Konohagakure Village to meet his sister.

Elsewhere, Team 7 receives a call from the police department regarding a mission. Team 7 and the police force work on a joint mission. They need to protect the president of a company as his life is in danger. It will be interesting to see if this killer is related to the wounded man Mitsuki and his cat met earlier.

“Yes, it was raining that night. Mikatsuki led me to him. And it was the first time we met. His name, where he came from if he is bad or not. All that didn’t matter in the beginning.
