‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Episode 155 Release Date Is Near, Anime’s Twitter Handle Teases ‘Important Announcement’

The manga version of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” is going steady with regular chapter releases. However, the anime series remains on hiatus after announcing delay due to COVID-19 pandemic and State of Emergency in Japan.

However, a tweet from the official NarutotoBoruto handle has teased an “important announcement” soon.

“Next time, Boruto will train at the Hyuga Family residence? And there will be an important announcement...?! Stay tuned for next week,” reads the tweet, via Comicbook.

Fans are speculating that it is likely that this new announcement is hinting towards a new release date for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 155. The new installment will not be releasing Sunday (June 28).

The new trailer for episode 155 is out after airing episode 154. The new episode is titled “Mitsuki’s Rainy Day.”

In the upcoming “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode, Mitsuki his tending to his cat – Mikatsuki. His cat takes him to a man who appears to be injured. It is raining heavily, and Mitsuki decides to rescue him.

The unidentified man tells him that he has come to Konohagakure Village to meet his sister.

In the meantime, Team 7 receives a call from the local police station. The team is called for a joint mission consisting of Team 7 members and police officers. The mission is to guard the president of a reputed company as his life is in danger. It remains to be seen if the alleged hitman is associated with the wounded man, Mitsuki, and Mikatsuki met.

“Yes, it was raining that night. Mikatsuki led me to him. And it was the first time we met. His name, where he came from if he is bad or not. All that didn’t matter in the beginning. Mikatsuki took a liking to him as well. But maybe we weren’t meant to meet, after all,” Mitsuki says in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 155 preview trailer.
