‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Episode 157 Preview, Spoilers: Kara Actuation Arc Begins

A mysterious organization named Kara is about to approach Konoha. “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 157 is set to initiate a new arc called the Kara Actuation Arc.

In episode 157 of the anime series, after Boruto defeats the boss of the Mujina Bandits – Shojyoji, he gathers crucial information concerning a new threat. Boruto learns about a new and mysterious organization named Kara, which reportedly has the headquarter in the Country Valley.

Sai and Sasuke decide to investigate the organization and reach a facility in Amegakure Village. They have intel that this facility is a Kara hide-out.

Later, in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 157, the duo meets a man named Karano Garashi, who knows about Kara.

“Boruto defeated the evil/heinous Mujina Bandit leader, Shojyoji! However, the mysterious organization – Kara that even the Mujina Bandits fear is approaching Konoha…!? Sasuke and Sai go to the South Village (Amegakure) where there is a secret hideout. It is a new adventure for Team 7 members and it remains to be seen how Boruto and his gang solve this mystery in the future Kara Actuation episodes.

The cast of the anime series includes Yuuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, Ryuuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Akira Ishida as Gaara, Hidenori Takahashi as Konohamaru Sarutobi, Shoutarou Morikubo as Shikamaru Nara and Nana Mizuki as Hinata Hyuga.

Twitter user Animeblue shared the list of staff members joining episode 157. The first episode of the Kara Actuation Arc is directed by Masayuki Matsumoto at the Jiwoo studio. Masahiro Okubo handles the script. Park Myoung Hun, Lee Joung Kyoung and Kim Kyoung Hwan are the animation supervisors for the episode.

“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 157 is slated to broadcast Sunday, July 19. The episodes are available in Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll.
