‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Episode 166 Preview Trailer, Spoilers: ‘Death Match’

The Kara Actuation arc’s antagonist, Deepa, finally faces off against Team 7 and Mugino in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 166. The episode is titled "Death Match."

The official preview trailer for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 166 is out teasing a battle between Deepa and Boruto and his friends. Deepa wants to get his hands on the Hashirama Cell and this ruthless assassin will go to any extent to retrieve it.

The trailer shows Deepa up against Boruto and the others. Sarada notes Deepa is an extremely strong opponent. However, Boruto believes if they team up, they can defeat Deepa.

Meanwhile, Hiruga has no intentions to battle against Deepa. He wants to notify his brother, Asaka, of the incoming danger.

The "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 166 preview trailer ends with Deepa announcing he found the Hashirama Cell. The teaser suggests fans are in for the first-ever Deepa-Team 7 fight in the current Kara Actuation arc and, from the looks of it, the fight will be intense.

In the previous "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode, after defeating Yuuga, Mugino tells Team 7 they wasted a lot of time and need to catch up to them before it is too late.

Deepa knows that the Land of Haze shinobi warriors possess the Hashirama Cell. Elsewhere, Boruto and his comrades, finally find Hiruga, who uses his Forbidden Jutsu: Hellish Obliteration against the heroes.

Team 7 members are stuck in a swamp-like jutsu and are unable to perform any of their jutsu against Hiruga.

Boruto finds out, like his brother Yuuga, Hiruga’s jutsu will claim his life. Boruto is shocked to see the shinobi warriors throw their lives away. Hiruga reveals he wants to take the Hashirama Cell to his village and help others.

After Omoi appears and informs Mugino and the others about Deepa, Hiruga agrees to move forward with them and save his brother and protect the Hashirama Cell.

The cast of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" anime includes Yuuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, Ryuuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Akira Ishida as Gaara, Hidenori Takahashi as Konohamaru Sarutobi, Shoutarou Morikubo as Shikamaru Nara and Nana Mizuki as Hinata Hyuuga.
