‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Episode 167 Preview Trailer, Spoilers: Team 7 Retreats

Team 7 is forced to retreat after Deepa overpowers Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki. In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 167, Team 7 members recuperate and they will likely train harder to deal with a threat like Deepa. The episode is titled "Their Decision."

The official preview trailer for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 167 shows Boruto and Sarada in a medical facility in Konohagakure, as Sakura closely monitors their recovery status.

Boruto tells Sarada they lost the battle against Deepa and it is frustrating. Sarada reveals the Sharingan did not affect the formidable enemy. Even Boruto’s Rasengan could not scratch Deep’s armored body. Boruto said that they can’t be protected all the time

Meanwhile, Victor and Deepa return to the lab with the Hashirama Cell to continue their experiments.

In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 166, Team 7, Mugino and Hiruga meet Asaka. Deepa arrives at their location and blasts Asaka and Hiruga. The attack results in Hiruga’s death while Asaka is badly wounded.

Boruto attacks Deepa, but the latter easily deflects it. Deepa explains his body is extremely strong as he absorbs carbon to make unbreakable molecular bonds. In the meantime, Victor appears and shocks Team 7 and the others. Boruto and his friends learn about Victor and Deepa’s alliance to get their hands on the Hashirama Cell.

Victor instructs Deepa to get rid of Team 7 while he deals with Mugino and Konohamaru. Toward the end of the episode, Deepa takes the Hashirama Cell after winning the one-sided battle against Boruto, Mitsuki and Sarada.

Mitsuki manages to escape with Boruto and Sarada. In the future episodes, they are likely to train and battle Deepa and Victor again.
