'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Episode 171 Spoilers: Boruto Faces An Old Nemesis

After finding his new Rasengan, Boruto is excited to put his newly found technique to test. In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 171, Boruto will face an old enemy.

The preview trailer for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 171 is out showcasing Boruto battling against the leader of the Mujina Bandits, Shojoji.

In the upcoming episode, Sasuke tells Sarada that they are entering the next phase. He tells her they will proceed into some more hands-on training.

Sasuke is training Sarada and closely monitoring her progress while she improves her Sharingan. However, Sarada's mother, Sakura, thinks that she is overexerting her body.

In the previous episode, Sakura and Sarada get into an argument as the latter wants to train harder. The preview for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 171 shows Sakura joining Sasuke to train Sarada.

The second half of the trailer shows Boruto and Shojoji battling and the former vows to prove his worth. Can he beat Shojoji and display his new Rasengan?

In the last episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," Boruto continues to train and develop his Rasengan. However, he seems to hit a roadblock. Later, Shikadai arrives and offers to train him to face Deepa.

Not just Shikadai, other members from Team 10 – Inojin and ChouChou, also join to help Boruto become a better fighter. After working incredibly hard, Boruto manages to improve his technique. He approaches his mentor, Kakashi, who wants to test him using the most “effective method."

Kakashi plans to pit Boruto against an enemy the latter has faced before.
