'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Episode 227 Spoilers: Team 7's Final Mission

Konohamaru is out there on a mission and will not be with Team 7 in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 227. Sarada will take charge of the team. The new episode is titled "Team 7's Last Mission?!"

The official promo trailer of Episode 227 shows Naruto informing Shikamaru and Sai about a message they received from Konohamaru who is currently on a mission.

Naruto is thinking about sending reinforcements. The team at the Hidden Leaf Village believes Konohamaru has a plan and that is why he stayed behind.

Elsewhere, Sarada tells Mitsuki and Boruto that they can coordinate and link up with Konohamaru. She asks Naruto if they will assign the assignment to Team 7.

In the previous episode, Boruto and Mitsuki rushed to the arena as their names were announced for the fight. Unfortunately, they were late and were disqualified from the Chunin exams.

Sarada, Chou-Chou and the others were shocked and disappointed after the disqualification. Meanwhile, Tsubaki and Denki were up next for their final round.

Tsubaki was confident about winning the battle and returning to the Land of Iron as a candidate for a leadership position. Denki was looking forward to using his Scientific Ninja Tools against Tsubaki in the final round.

"One after another, the winners of the finals are being decided. Only a few matches remain, but Boruto and Mitsuki still have not appeared at the venue. Sarada worries that at this rate, the duo will be disqualified. Meanwhile, the next match is between Denki and Tsubaki," read the official synopsis of Episode 226, according to Crunchyroll.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 227 is scheduled for release on Dec. 5. The episodes are streaming on Crunchyroll, Hulu and Apple TV.
