'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Episode 260 Preview, Spoilers, Release Date

Before the Kawaki–Himawari Ninja Academy arc begins, Boruto will try to help a couple who are being tormented by their grandfathers. "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 260 is titled "Love Skyrockets."

The official preview trailer of Episode 260 starts off with a peaceful day at Konohagakure as Boruto and Kakashi are spotted walking down the street.

However, they see a group of people arguing with each other. Boruto witnesses a young man and woman in the group and they appear upset. He learns that their grandfathers are from rival clans and they are not ready for their marriage.

Can Boruto help the distressed couple?

After "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 260, the anime will start the Kawaki-Himawari Ninja Academy arc. TV Tokyo has released the story introduction of the arc that revolves around Himawari, who wants to become a shinobi.

Kawaki offers to join the academy and train alongside her.

"Mitsuki worries when Mikazuki the cat goes missing. Mitsuki, Boruto, and Sarada are assisting with the village patrol at the request of the police department, which is having difficulty investigating a strange series of attacks. From morning until night, Mitsuki spends his days on patrol, when one day, he sees Mikazuki being cared for by another person and being called by another name!" read the official synopsis of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 259, as per Crunchyroll.

The cast of the anime includes Yuuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Yusuke Shirai as Ikada Funato, Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, Ryuuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Chiharu Sawashiro as Hiruga, Hidenori Takahashi as Konohamaru Sarutobi, Shoutarou Morikubo as Shikamaru Nara, Kunihiro Kawamoto as Omoi, Saori Hayami as Himawari Uzumaki and Nana Mizuki as Hinata Uzumaki.

It also includes Ryoko Shiraishi as Cho-Cho Akimichi, Atsushi Abe as Inojin Yamanaka, Yūichi Nakamura as Koji Kashin, Yūma Uchida as Kawaki, Houko Kuwashima as Delta, Kenta Miyake as Boro, Akio Ohtsuka as Amado, Junta Terashima as Code and Kenjiro Tsuda as Jigen.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 260 is scheduled to air on July 31. The episodes are available on Crunchyroll, Apple TV and Hulu. The new installments will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
