Boss' Day Quotes 2017: 14 Sayings For The National Day
Oct. 16 is celebrated as National Boss' Day. The unofficial holiday is celebrated so that employees can show appreciation to their bosses.
National Boss' Day was registered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 1958 by Patricia Bays Haroski who was then an employee of State Farm Insurance Company in Deerfield, Illinois. She elected Oct. 16 as it was her father’s birthday. She started the day to express gratitude towards her boss. She also hoped that the day would help to improve employee-supervisor relationships.
