Police are looking for two suspects involved in the assault of an employee at a Michigan bowling alley recently.

According to a Facebook post by the Roseville Police Department in Michigan on Saturday, the incident took place about 11:45 p.m. EDT on the night of Oct. 10 when the employee asked an unruly group that was causing a disturbance to leave. Instead of leaving, they surrounded the employee who was positioned behind a counter.

CCTV footage of the incident shows the first suspect reaching over the bowling counter and punching the employee in the face while the second suspect steps behind the counter and violently kicks and punches him. The first suspect then goes behind the counter and hits the employee in the head with a stool. He then smashes the employee's head with a bowling ball. The employee falls on the ground but the duo continues to kick him in the head before fleeing the place.

Police said the victim, identified as a 28-year- old Roseville resident, was transported to a nearby hospital. The department has identified the second suspect.

The police described the first suspect as a person in “early twenties approximately 200 pounds wearing a black baseball cap, white t-shirt with a black short sleeve button up on over the t-shirt and black pants. This subject had a close shaved beard and tattoos on his arms.”

The department has requested anyone with information about the suspect to contact Detective Scicluna of the Roseville Police Department at 586-447-4510 or 586-447-4484.

In a similar incident in October 2013, a man was killed by a bowling ball flung during a brawl at a New Jersey bowling alley. The 23-year-old was found unconscious in a lane near the alley by cops who took him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Middlesex County prosecutor's office said around 250 people were involved in a fight that took place in the alley and then spilled into the parking lot. As security guards tried to break it up, a chair was thrown at them and then someone heaved a bowling ball at the victim.

Party promoter Tajh Harvey said, "It was fine. Everybody was enjoying themselves. It went left in 2.5 seconds,” NJ.com reported.

He said the victim, Jamont Atkins, wasn't a troublemaker. He attended Malcolm X Shabazz High School and worked at FedEx.

“He was a good kid. He’s never really been in trouble. He was one of those people that when you saw him he always smiled,” Harvey said.

Piscataway Police detective Todd Ritter said, "He seemed like a decent kid. Somebody must have given somebody a look,” the New York Daily reported.
