Floyd Mayweather caused a stir in mid September when he announced he would have a rematch with Manny Pacquiao. Few details have emerged about the megabout since the announcement, but Las Vegas oddsmakers have a clear idea of who will win.

Mayweather will enter the proposed fight as the overwhelming favorite at -230, while Pacquiao is the underdog at +180.

When the two welterweights fought in May 2015, Mayweather won in a unanimous decision. Two judges scored the fight 116–112 and the other scored it 118–110.

Mayweather entered the first fight as the favorite at -210, while Pacquiao was the underdog at +170. Mayweather also entered the fight with a 66.7 percent chance of winning, while Pacquiao was given a 37 percent chance of winning.

But this fight could be a bit different.

It was learned after the first fight that Pacquiao suffered a should injury while training and that he had re-injured it in the fourth round. The 39-year-old is currently not battling any injuries.

After more than three years, Pacquiao has fought four times, compiling a 3-1 record against well-regarded welterweights. The lone blemish was a controversial decision loss in July 2017 to Australian Jeff Horn.

Mayweather, 41, has fought just twice since defeating Pacquiao and against lackluster competition.

Four months after holding off Pacquiao, Mayweather defeated Andre Berto, a solid welterweight but one who was coming off three losses in his previous six fights. Mayweather hasn't fought since August 2017, when he cruised to a cynical TKO win over Conor McGregor, a UFC fighter who was making in professional boxing debut. The win lifted Mayweather's record to a clean 50-0.

The Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch is expected to take place on Dec. 1 or Dec. 8.
