Thanks to social media, Kim Kardashian West and Leah Jenner have both spoken out about their pregnancies. Just hours apart on Wednesday, Kim cleared up rumors that she is expecting a baby boy while Jenner confirmed that she is having a baby girl.

Kardashian West blasted the widespread reports about her baby’s gender. She stated that she and her husband Kanye West have not yet revealed the baby’s actual gender to anyone. The social media maven took to her Twitter account to address several rumors. First of all, she shut down reports that she’s carrying twins.

Due to her well-documented struggle with fertility, Kim has been undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other treatments to help her conceive. With all the difficulties that she faced in the past, reports of her using a surrogate to carry her second child also proliferated. She slammed those reports as well.

The most recent reports surrounding her pregnancy involve her baby’s sex. She also blasted the news stating that she’s expecting a baby boy. All of these points were covered in one concise tweet that was loud and clear.

The news of Kardashian West's pregnancy was announced on the mid-season finale of the family’s reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Her older sister Kourtney used the same strategy and announced her third pregnancy during Season 9.

Meanwhile, Leah Jenner, who is married to Kardashian West's stepbrother Brandon, has also made an announcement via social media. She used her Instagram account to confirm that she and her husband are expecting a baby girl. She posted a photo of herself cradling her baby bump with Brandon standing behind her. She is holding a pink rose in the photo and she captioned it: "So excited to meet our little girl."
