Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Getting Married? Wedding Rumors Surround Hollywood's Power Couple
The tabloids have always loved Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but the gossip fire is raging again after Pitt confirmed the couple still plans to get married. After Pitt and Jolie announced their engagement in April, fans wondered when the big ceremony would take place. During a recent interview, Pitt told reporters that despite the delay, he still plans to wed Jolie.
"We are going to do it," Pitt said at a British screening of his upcoming movie "Killing Them Softly," according to the Telegraph. "We haven't set a date yet, though. We are getting a lot of pressure from our kids."
Pitt even told reporters he and Jolie would consider getting married in the United Kingdom.
"We could do it. It has been such an amazing summer here, with all your events -- the Jubilee and the Olympics. I've watched everything."
Us Magazine reports that Pitt even speculated that his buddy George Clooney could be involved in the wedding.
"Well, you know, he doesn't believe in institutions. So he can get people to their seats or something."
"I plan very little as I get older," Pitt was quick to add.
Pitt and Jolie are reportedly staying at a house on the Thames River while Jolie films "Maleficent" near Surrey, England. They have three biological children: four-year-old twins and Shiloh, who is six. Hollywood's most famous couple also adopted three children: one from Cambodia, one from Vietnam and one from Ethiopia. Pitt is 48 years old and Jolie is 37.
The power couple is said to have their hopes set on living permanently at Chateau Miraval, their estate in the south of France. Pink Floyd recorded tracks for "The Wall" at the mansion, which is fitting because Pitt had previously been rumored to want a "Pink Floyd" wine at his wedding, according to the Sun.
Celebuzz reported last month that the couple held a big bash at Chateau Miraval in August, which led to rumors of a secret wedding. That speculation turned out to be false.
Pitt and Jolie have said in the past that they wouldn't get married until it's legal for same-sex couples to do so.
