Ever since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie starred in the sexy action/comedy Mr and Mrs Smith, their every move has been documented by the media. The Brangelina fascination is not unwarranted. They're both ridiculously good looking, talented, and constantly star in award winning films. Since 2005, the pair's relationship has been the subject of rumors and even controversy. They have six children together and travel the globe in order to promote their films and conduct humanitarian work. After almost seven years together (more if you believe the rumors that they began an affair on-set), their choice to remain partners rather than husband and wife has puzzled some.

Jolie has been married twice before while Pitt has one famous marriage under his belt. Pitt has previously stated that he would not consider marrying Jolie until gay couples could legally wed. Yet last year, the actor had a change of heart telling Hollywood Life:

We'd actually like to, and it seems to mean more and more to our kids. We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to do it till everyone can. But I don't think we'll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.

Now reports have surfaced that the couple are engaged! Pitt's manager even confirmed the news stating:

Yes, it's confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy, Pitt's manager Cynthia Pett-Dante tells Lifeline Live. There's no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring.
