Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Relationship: Couple Reportedly Hid Their Secret Feelings On Set

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly tried to keep their feelings for each other a secret from everyone else while they were filming for “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in 2005.

While speaking with Mirror, the former couple’s British bodyguard revealed that Pitt and Jolie also kept their budding romance a secret from him.

“I was the main detail leader for Mr. & Mrs. Smith's afterparty, which was at 4 o'clock in the morning. I got called up at 4 in the morning to go to this speed zone, where they do drag racing and bumper cars and things like that - it was a big field. Brad was there, Angelina was there, and the whole crew,” he said.

“We had to make sure there was no paparazzi around, it was really secretive, a massive secret, and everyone was reporting that those two were together. I even had my mum telling me she'd read in the papers that they were together and I was saying, 'Mum, there's no way, I'm with them every day, there's no way anything's going on,’” the bodyguard added.

Pitt and Jolie’s former staff was surprised to know that the A-listers were actually an item since he didn’t know anything. The bodyguard also said that he didn’t suspect anything when it comes to the love department between Pitt and Jolie.

The former couple was cast in Mr. & Mrs. Smith while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. At that time, the “Friends” star didn’t have any idea that Pitt and Jolie were developing feelings for each other.

Shortly after, Pitt and Aniston decided to call it quits. At that time, the couple’s divorce was blamed on Jolie. And during her interview with Vogue, Jolie admitted that she and Pitt tried to control their feelings for each other at the beginning but their connection was very strong.
