Brad Pitt Describes Superstar Bachelor As 'Giving And Generous', Wants Another Movie With Him
In just one movie, Brad Pitt seems to have created a lasting friendship with fellow A-list celebrity and multi-awarded actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
It’s only now that the two stars have managed to work together, what with multiple DiCaprio and Pitt movies that have always gone toe-to-toe with each other. This time, they’re working together, playing a washed-up 60s TV actor and his cool, laid-back stunt double.
There was very little animosity, if there ever were, between two of Hollywood’s leading celebrities. In an interview with OK! Magazine, Pitt said he had a "really fun" time working with the "Titanic" star.
“You’ve got the best of the best holding up that scene with you and there’s a great relief in that," Pitt shared.
He also said that it helped that they came into the industry almost the same time and have had similar experiences and the same circle of people in the industry.
Quentin Tarantino’s new movie, "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood," is set to create an entirely new wave in the industry. The movie is set in Los Angeles in the early to mid-60s and is painstakingly curated to give moviegoers an authentic feel of the era.
NY Books reported that Tarantino’s latest masterpiece also holds the theme of revenge, similar to his earlier works in “Kill Bill” or “Django Unchained.” Given the close relationship between its lead characters, “OUATIH” is also a ‘buddy film.’ The story revolves around once-famous actor Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his driver/stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt).
Rick and Cliff’s careers are told with the Manson Family’s notorious murder spree in the background. It even features a crossing of paths between them and the Manson girls as well as Roman Polanski’s paramour, the late Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie).
Tarantino’s film opened up at the Cannes Film Festival.
Pitt enjoyed the film and said he wished to work more with Leonardo.
"Leonardo is really giving and generous. I hope we get to work together again."
Tarantino might have to fulfil that wish depending on how “OUATIH” plays out in the cinemas.
