Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s decision to divorce had nothing to do with their six kids’ education.

Rumor debunking site Gossip Cop recently clarified that Pitt and Jolie did not have constant fights over how to raise their kids, as well as where to send them for their education. The publication also slammed a tabloid for saying that Pitt has always wanted to live a normal and simple life.

Jolie, on the other hand, wanted to live a more unorthodox lifestyle, which involves going to red carpet events, traveling regularly, and more. The tabloid was also quoted as saying that the “Maleficent” star constantly drags her children to red carpet events as though they are not happy to be there.

But the “First They Killed My Father” director previously revealed that her kids are the ones who tell her that they want to go with her on her humanitarian visits, as well as her red carpet events. Jolie already clarified that she never forces her kids to do anything that they don’t want to do.

The rumor about Pitt and Jolie’s differing lifestyles heightened after a source told Entertainment Tonight that the actor enjoys bonding with his six children at home. Jolie, on the other hand, bonds with her kids not only at home, but also during various public sightings.

“Brad tries to maintain a safe environment for the children, so that when they visit they stay home. When the children are visiting, they are usually accompanied by bodyguards and nannies. The house is basically on lockdown. He wants his time with his children to be private,” the source said.

However, Pitt and Jolie have developed an amicable relationship with each other for the sake of their kids. This means that they don’t have any issue with regards to how they are being raised. Pitt is also focused on improving himself, which includes avoiding drinking alcohol, for the sake of his kids.

“He goes to therapy every week and is mostly interested in learning and bettering himself as a man and a father,” a source told US Weekly.
