Brad Pitt Heartbreakingly Denied Angelina Jolie Affair During Jennifer Aniston Divorce, ‘Blamed’ Ex-Wife

Brad Pitt once shockingly denied that he was having an affair with Angelina Jolie while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, Pitt’s executive at Plan B productions, Kristin Hahn, said that Aniston wasn’t naïve. However, the “Ad Astra” star made her think that Jolie was not the reason why their five-year marriage ended.

“She’s not suggesting she didn’t know there was an enchantment and a friendship. But Brad was saying, ‘This is not about another woman,’” Hahn said.

But it didn’t take long after Aniston and Pitt’s divorce before the latter got into a relationship with Jolie. Still, during her interview with the publication, Aniston stood by her previous statement where she said that their divorce didn’t have anything to do with a third party.

When asked if Aniston believes that Pitt didn’t cheat on her with Jolie, the “Friends” star said that she chooses to believe her husband. However, she also said that she wouldn’t be surprised to find out that he wasn’t completely honest with her.

Despite the couple’s short-lived relationship, Aniston had nothing but good things to say about her ex-husband. She also called their seven-year relationship beautiful.

“We helped each other through a lot, and I really value that. It was a beautiful, complicated relationship. The sad thing, for me, is the way it’s been reduced to a Hollywood cliché – or maybe it’s just a human cliché. I have a lot of compassion for everyone going through this,” she said.

Meanwhile, following Aniston and Pitt’s reunion at the SAG awards, rumors swirled that the former couple has fallen in love again. One of Aniston’s friends even claimed that “The Morning Show” star never stopped loving Pitt even though he broke her heart.

But now that Aniston has forgiven Pitt for what he did, both of them can finally move on from their negative experiences.
