Brad Pitt Isn’t Dating Jennifer Lawrence, Rep For Actress Denies Relationship Rumor

Jennifer Lawrence may be newly single, but that doesn’t mean she has already jumped back into a relationship and is dating Brad Pitt.

Recently, there have been several rumors circulating that the actress and the Hollywood veteran have been carrying out a romantic relationship, but sources close to the stars say it just isn’t true.

Gossip Cop shut down tabloid reports that Lawrence, 27, and Pitt, 53, are dating. A “source” allegedly told Star magazine that the two hooked up shortly after the actress split from “Mother!” director Darren Aronofsky, 48.

“Brad has had his eye on Jennifer for years. [They] have been enjoying lots of late nights together. There’s an intense connection between them,” the insider reportedly said.

The outlet’s “source” went on to reveal that Pitt was nervous about asking Lawrence out, but friends encouraged him to date the starlet because he has “been single long enough” following his split from Angelina Jolie.

Despite these “inside sources,” Gossip Cop reached out to a friend of Pitt’s, who laughed off the report and called it “false.” Meanwhile, Lawrence’s rep outright denied rumors the “Joy” star was dating Pitt.

Lawrence is fresh out of her relationship with Aronofsky following a year of dating. The two reportedly broke up in October, but the split wasn’t revealed until November. At the time of the break up, a show business source told People that the two were not meant to be in a long-term relationship together.

“Once they are onto new projects and interests, it’s harder to keep up relationships of any kind,” the insider said.

“They were never destined for marriage. They had fun, shared many beliefs, and enjoyed what they could learn from each other,” they added.

Meanwhile, a source close to the former couple believed the pair struggled to get past their age difference. “There is a huge age difference, and they are different people,” the insider revealed.

“Each has to look practically to the future. Jen has yet to figure out her life and how it will evolve. He has responsibilities in life that she has yet to experience,” the source explained.

Seeing as Lawrence’s last relationship ended due to the large age difference, it seems a romance with Pitt, who is 27 years her senior, would be destined to fail as well.
