Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt opened up to Parade in an interview recently about his life and the women in it.

He said Angelina Jolie, his current wife and the birth mother of his three young children, is a great mother.

She is such a great mom [and] I'm so happy to have her, said Pitt.

He said one of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom.

Pitt and Jolie have six children together - three biological and three adoptive.

Pitt also said he's satisfied with finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much.

He noted that a family is a risky venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss. However, it's a risk he's willing to take, he said.

On his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, Pitt said he tried to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't.

Because of it, he said he wasn't living an interesting life during that time.

Pitt later emailed a statement to Us Weekly clarifying that he was the dull one, not Aniston.

Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend, Pitt wrote to Us Weekly.
