  • Brad Pitt will celebrate Christmas with daughter Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne, a report says
  • The original plan he and Jolie had discussed reportedly involved him spending the holidays with the entire family
  • Jolie is reportedly "frustrated" with the setbacks in their custody court case

Brad Pitt will be spending Christmas with three of his children with estranged wife Angelina Jolie amid their ongoing custody battle, a report said.

Pitt will be seeing daughter Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox on Friday, a source told Us Weekly. The insider also said that the three children “can spend the night with him on Christmas Eve.”

The tipster told the outlet that Pitt and Jolie previously talked about celebrating the holidays together as a family when they were still "getting along." However, their plans changed because the former couple’s “egos have once again derailed” the idea, the source said.

“Brad and Angelina are equally responsible for the never-ending drama. Sadly, their children are collateral damage,” the source claimed.

“Relations between Brad and Angelina remain extremely tense,” the insider said, adding that the “Maleficent” actress has become “frustrated” with the setbacks in their case.

Jolie allegedly also turned “more prickly” because the COVID-19 pandemic has forced her to cancel her travel plans, the insider shared. She apparently wanted to do humanitarian work outside the country, but she first needs her ex-husband’s permission to be able to bring her kids.

Apart from Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne, Pitt and Jolie also share three more kids, Maddox, 19, Pax, 17 and Zahara, 15. Although the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” stars were declared legally single in September last year, they are still battling for custody of their children.

It has been a difficult situation for the family, especially since the press has been on to every development of the case. In August, Jolie filed to have removed Judge John Ouderkirk from their case, alleging that “[he] failed to make timely mandatory disclosures of ongoing business and professional relationships between himself."

However, Pitt wanted the request to be dismissed, explaining that Jolie’s petition was a “thinly veiled attempt” to delay their legal battle.

"Judge Ouderkirk has also accepted additional new engagements involving opposing counsel during the pendency of this action — a fact fully disclosed to Jolie, and still she has never objected to his continued involvement in this proceeding until now. On the contrary, Jolie has stipulated three times to extend Judge Ouderkirk’s appointment," Pitt’s camp argued.

The Superior Court of California sided with Pitt in November.
