Bradley Cooper, Irina Shayk Enjoy Lunch Date Unaffected By 'Love Triangle' Rumors
Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk were spotted stepping out for a lunch date in New York City on Tuesday. The couple's casual outing came almost a month after they attended the Oscars together, and the chemistry between Cooper and Lady Gaga sparked dating rumors.
Cooper, 44, was seen wearing a backward baseball cap, a blue puffer jacket, jeans and Nike hightops, while his supermodel girlfriend wore a tan coat, a white turtleneck, matching skirt and brown boots. The couple continued to ignore rumors about Cooper's linkup with Lady Gaga as there was no truth to the rumors.
Cooper and Shayk, who mostly like to keep their personal life private, were surrounded with rumors of trouble in paradise following the Oscar performance of the actor with Lady Gaga. Rumors about a “love triangle” between the two actors and Shayk surfaced online in the past few months.
Reports starting from Lady Gaga and Cooper moving in together to the Oscar-winning singer and Shayk fighting for the actor's attention have all made the rounds. However, none of these rumors were true.
Three days after the Oscars, Lady Gaga appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, where she laughed off at the suggestion that an off-stage romance began between her and Cooper.
"That is what we wanted you to see," Lady Gaga said when Kimmel asked about the intense chemistry between the "A Star Is Born" actors. "This is a long song. It is a love story and we worked so hard. I knew he had a vision for how long it should go."
In her Glamour UK cover story in February, Shayk opened up about why she made a choice in keeping her personal life private.
“I have a lot of friends who share a lot of their personal life on Instagram or social media, very publicly. I admire it and I think it’s great – but I think it’s all about personal choice,” she said. “Because my work requires me to be out there, I just decided my personal life will be quiet. That’s why it’s called personal, because it’s something for you and your family, and I feel happy with it.”
