Bradley Cooper's career as an actor has been on an upward trajectory, but he achieved immense success after the release of his movie with Lady Gaga, "A Star Is Born." But how did it affect Cooper's net worth?

Even before "A Star Is Born" hit theaters last year and took the world by storm, Cooper had already been earning millions per film. Forbes reported that the actor raked in a staggering $46 million in 2014 alone due to "American Hustle," "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Guardians of the Galaxy."

According to a 2015 article by The Hollywood Reporter, Cooper's salary per movie had been expected to jump up following the success of "American Sniper" and his Oscar nominations. Cooper was predicted to rake in $15 million to $20 million per film, a jump from the $15 million he earned for starring in "The Hangover Part III."

Cooper reportedly earned $41.5 million in total in 2015, according to Forbes. This was apparently thanks to his roles in "American Sniper," "Aloha" and "Wet Hot American Summer." The actor's production company, a collaboration with "Hangover" director Todd Phillips, also boosted his earnings.

Cooper's net worth for 2018-2019 is expected to increase even more due to the success of "A Star Is Born," which grossed $433,869,279 worldwide as of March 2019, according to Box Office Mojo.

"A Star Is Born" only had a $36 million budget, so it is highly likely that Cooper earned an immense amount from this movie alone as he served as director, co-screenwriter, co-songwriter and lead actor.

Aside from its massive earnings, the film also received numerous accolades during this year's awards season. "A Star Is Born" was nominated in seven different categories in the Academy Awards and got five nods from the Golden Globe Awards. The film took home the Oscar award for best original song for "Shallow," which was written by Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt.

"A Star Is Born" was also hailed as one of the top 10 best films of 2018 by the American Film Institute and National Board of Review.
