Bravo announces launch of Real Housewives of Miami
Bravo TV has announced the launch of The Real Housewives of Miami on February 22, in place of The Real Housewives of New York City.
It is reported that the fourth season of the New York Housewives still needs to be wrapped up completely.The reason for the new show, officially, is that it looks at the sunny city where the party never stops.
Bravo initially had a programme called ‘Miami Social’ which did not do very well. It is believed that the Miami Housewives is an attempt to overhaul the show.
There is a lot of interest around its cast members. The biggest buzz was about the drag queen, Elaine Lancaster aka James David, being a part of it. But an official spokesperson said, Any claims or reports that Elaine Lancaster is part of the cast of 'The Real Housewives of Miami' are erroneous.
According to reports, all the stereotypical cast molds can be found in this version also, minus a drag queen alone. There is, according to Bravo, a Brazilian bombshell and a Cuban Barbie.
