Bravo Sets Strict COVID Safety Guidelines For ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Season 13
The filming of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 13 has officially begun, however, the cast will have to abide by Bravo’s COVID-19 rules in order to get any screen time.
Although the coronavirus pandemic caused the “RHOA” Season 12 cast to film a virtual reunion, the network will be allowing the women to film the latest season in person.
TMZ reported that the cast has begun filming, but they will be required to follow the safety plan that Bravo has created to ensure that both the cast and the crew are protected.
The network is reportedly requiring everyone to get their temperatures checked before shooting starts. Anyone who has a fever of 100.4 degrees or higher, or shows any signs of COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to film.
While filming, all members of the production crew will be required to wear masks. However, it is unclear whether the cast of “The. Real Housewives of Atlanta” will appear in masks while on camera.
Furthermore, viewers may have to say goodbye to the days of the women filming in their homes because Bravo wants the show to be filmed outdoors as much as possible.
Unlike previous seasons, which have consisted of large birthday parties, BBQs, and housewarmings, the women will be kept away from large crowds. Instead, they will mostly be around their immediate family, and essential staff members like the production crew and glam teams will only be on location when necessary.
So far, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, Kandi Burruss, and Cynthia Bailey have begun filming for the new season. Fans can also expect to see some new faces when the show returns. TMZ reported YouTuber LaToya Ali and actress Drew Sidora are expected to join the cast for Season 13.
Bravo has yet to release details regarding a premiere date for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 13.
