On Wednesday, members of the British armed forces including the army, navy and RAF took part in a pre-wedding rehearsal along the route to Westminster Abbey.

Over 1000 members, all in complete ceremonial uniforms took part in the procession before dawn this morning. The much anticipated royal wedding scheduled on April 29, 2011 is slated to be one of the biggest events of the year with the guest list featuring foreign diplomats, royal dignitaries, celebs and sportsmen among others.

The armed forces will be standing to attention five paces apart along the ceremonial route from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey on Friday.
