Britney Spears Celebrates Sons Sean, Jayden's Birthdays Amid Conservatorship Battle

Britney Spears is celebrating her two sons Sean and Jayden's birthdays, which are just two days apart.

On Saturday, Sept. 12, the "Baby One More Time" singer took to Instagram to share a sweet message for her two boys. Jayden turned 14 years old on Saturday, while Sean Preston will turn 15 on Monday.

"My two lil men’s birthdays are this week!!!!!! You guys are getting older and so big and are waaay cooler than me !!!!! I love you both to the moon and back ….. and I hope all of your bday wishes come true and more !!!!!" Spears wrote in the post, which included a beautiful image with a moon and yellow flowers.

Spears shares both sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, who previously worked as a backup dancer for the singer's ex, Justin Timberlake.

She married Federline less than three months after they first met in a surprise wedding ceremony back in 2004. Spears and Federline parted ways three years later following the birth of their two children.

Back in March, Jayden opened up about his mom, grandfather Jamie Spears and several other topics on Instagram. During the live stream, the youngster called his grandfather a "pretty big d–k" and questioned why his mom would consider quitting music when she makes "bank."

The video, which went viral, has since been deleted.

"This is what happens when a 13-year-old acts like they’re 13 years old. Kevin is handling the situation as you would expect from any responsible parent," Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said of Jayden's live stream, People reported.

Spears’ two sons live with their dad, but she still sees them regularly.

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old singer's sweet message for her two sons comes amid her conservatorship battle.

In August, Spears asked the court to dropped her dad as her sole conservator and requested to have Jodi Montgomery, her longtime care manager, as her permanent conservator. Montgomery was named her temporary conservator in September last year, but the court appointment expired on Aug. 22.

"Britney is strongly opposed to having [Jamie] return as conservator of her person. Rather, she strongly prefers to have Ms. Montgomery continue in that role as she has done for nearly a year. ... Britney would like Ms. Montgomery's appointment as conservator of her person to be made permanent," Spears' document read.

Commenting on Spears' conservatorship case, Billy B Brasfield, the pop star's former makeup artist, recently told Entertainment Tonight that he has talked to Spears following the Aug. 19 #FreeBritney rally outside the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles.

"It’s inspiring to see how well she is managing the conservatorship case and she absolutely sees a light at the end of this very dark tunnel that she’s been in," he said of Spears. "She said that she wants people to know that she sees what’s going on."
