Britney Spears Claims Father Jamie Tried To Kill Her During Conservatorship
Britney Spears has claimed that her father, Jamie Spears, tried to kill her during her conservatorship.
In a two-minute audio clip shared on Twitter, the "Lucky" singer detailed how her father treated her under his custody, adding, he should "burn in f***ing hell."
Britney revealed having been subjected to three MRIs in 2019 while her father made her believe she was being treated for cancer. She said the brain scans were followed by her being sent to a mental health facility, which she said "didn't make sense" because she knew she was fine.
"The whole thing didn't make sense," said Britney. "I didn't understand the isolation, the nurses, the vials of blood, the constant communication."
"I'm fine. I'm alive... The hardest thing is to know that they were just being mean and that I really felt like my dad was trying to kill me. And I hope he burns in f***ing hell," she added.
The singer went on to blast Jamie in a series of tweets, saying she believes in "consequences." "My wish is to take my father to a place... take his car away... his home away... his door to privacy away," she wrote.
She went on to list all the things her father had subjected her to while under the conservatorship, including having nurses around every day of the week to watch her shower and dress. "Sit him down 7 days a week from 8 am to 6 pm being asked questions and people treating him like a science experience [sic]... monitoring his food... no phone... nurses watch him shower and dress," she continued, saying she would love to see how Jamie would feel under those circumstances.
"I don't see how they get to walk away so easily and get away with what was done to me... the world has shown me and the world only that cruelty wins!!!," she concluded her post.
Jamie served as Britney's conservator from 2008 before being suspended in 2021. During the conservatorship hearing last year, he vehemently denied doing anything wrong to his daughter under his custody and said everything he did was in her best interests.
