Britney Spears Flaunts Toned Body On Instagram, Advises Fans To ‘Stay Focused And Extra Sparkly’
Britney Spears is always busy preparing for her shows at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, but she still manages to spend time in the gym for her regular dose of intense workout. This week, she gave her fans a peak into her usual routine that helps her maintain her toned figure.
The songstress took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a short clip of what she does to keep her abs. In the video, Spears can be seen doing a challenging routine that involves her lifting gym equipment above her head lunging her leg to the front. Throughout her demanding routine, Spears’ trainer instructs her and motivates her to do well on the side. The princess of pop captioned this post, “staying motivated.”
In a previous post, Spears uploaded a snap of her posing outdoors wearing the same workout clothes. The mom-of-two lightens the mood of the photo by sticking her tongue out despite the intense heat from the sun. She also said in the caption that she’s feeling “blessed” that day.
Fans of the “Baby One More Time” hitmaker couldn’t help but praise her dedication to exercising and maintaining her fit body. One fan wrote: “It shows that everybody needs to work hard for a fit body! Keep up the good work.” Another commented: “Being fit is always good for your health.”
Spears’ posts also inspired many of her fans to exercise and to not skip gym day. A fan stated: “I saw this video … and it inspired me to try it at the gym tonight! I love it! I really felt it in my shoulders and care [sic], plus it helps with balance.” One fan chimed in: “I was going to skip a workout today… forget that now! Thanks Britney!”
Since she received a lot of positive messages from her fans, Spears decided to give them a piece of advice hours later. The 35-year-old recording artist posted a message telling her millions of followers to “stay focused and extra sparkly.”
It is no secret that Spears likes to hit the gym and achieve her fitness goals. Back in December 2014, she revealed what she did to get the body she wants. “I like my workouts to be effective in a short amount of time,” she was quoted as saying by Us Weekly. “I start with 20 minutes of intense cardio — usually running — move on to light free weights; body-weight exercises such as push-ups, squats and sit-ups; then finish it off with a stretch.”
