Britney Spears Rejects 'X Factor' Deal, In Talks To Become Resident Las Vegas Performer?

Britney Spears was in the running to become the next judge on the X Factor, but it looks like the pop star has rejected the deal.

According to sources in Spears' camp, the deal fell through a few weeks ago.

Spears was offered $10 million to become a judge on X Factor, but reportedly wanted $16 million for the gig and Simon Cowell backed out.

It is now being reported that Spears is in talks to become a resident performer in Las Vegas like Celine Dion this fall.

X Factor still has to replace two more judges after the departure of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.
