Britney Spears’ conservatorship is coming to an end after nearly 14 years, but her team wants to make sure her father, Jamie Spears, is left in the dark about her plans with her newfound freedom.

Jodi Montgomery, who was the popstar’s personal conservator, filed documents last week requesting for only the judge and Spears’ lawyer to be included in the 39-year-old singer’s post-conservatorship plans.

TMZ reported Spears’ team filled a “termination plan,” which contained sensitive details about the singer’s two sons, finances, medical information, and businesses interests.

The plan will include a set of guidelines “for supportive decision-making to help [Britney] adjust and transition to life outside of the conservatorship.”

Due to the singer’s strained relationship with her father over the conservatorship, Spears does not want him to have access to her plans for the future.

“From the history of this case, it is no secret that Ms. Spears has had a contentious relationship with her family, especially her father, Mr. Spears,” Montgomery stated.

“Given the history of this case, it is clear that Ms. Spears does not want her medical or other privacy rights invaded by her father or any other party in this conservatorship case.”

News about the court filing comes amid Spears’ recent Instagram post celebrating the end of her conservatorship.

“What an amazing weekend … I felt like I was on cloud 9 the whole time!!! I actually got my first glass of champagne at the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever seen last night !!!! I’m celebrating my freedom and my B day for the next two months!!!!!!!!!!!” Spears captioned the Monday post.

“I mean after 13 years … I think I’ve waited long ENOUGH !!!! I’m so happy my lawyer Mathew Rosengart came into my life when he did … he has truly turned my life around … I’m forever thankful for that !!!! What a sight, seeing so many people celebrating my victory …. I love my fans so much … so thank you!!!!⁣”

On Friday, a California judge ended Spears’ conservatorship without evaluation. As part of the termination plan, Montgomery is expected to continue working with the singer, and accountant John Zabel will have “limited and administrative power.”
