Brody Jenner On Past Relationship With Kris: 'Tension Was Real'

Brody Jenner and stepmother Kris haven’t always had the best relationship, which the reality TV figure maintains is completely real, but now he says the pair have resolved their feud.

“The tension was real as far as growing up not knowing her intentions, who she is. There was obviously just drama between the family and parents,” Jenner told the New York Daily News.

The 30-year-old Jenner, who is Bruce Jenner’s son from a previous marriage, added since he’s been spending more time with the Kardashian “momager” filming the family show, they have become closer. “Kris and I have had some very deep, long conversations, and we actually really got to know each other, and so we’re all good now,” he said.

Ironically, he might not have to deal with her for much longer. After 22 years of marriage, the Olympian and his wife have split. Brody told the Daily News his dad was “doing great” and living the single life.

He even dished on his father’s ever-growing hair and the possible motive for his new do. “He does a lot of these things in spite of the girls,” Brody said. “One of the girls will make fun of his hair or say something about his hair, and he’ll grow it longer just because they’re saying that.”

“He’s one of those types,” the former “Hills” star continued. “Even though maybe he’ll want to cut it, he won’t, just because when he goes over to the house, they’ll say, ‘Oh my God, what’s going on with your hair?’ ”

Kris and Bruce have yet to file for divorce. Season 9 of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” is slated to premiere on E! Jan. 14.
