Bruce Jenner Reportedly Filming His Transgender Journey For TV Show, Kardashian Family To Cameo
Bruce Jenner is no stranger to reality-TV, but his latest project is rumored to be quite personal. After several months of rumors regarding an alleged gender transformation, TMZ is reporting that the 65-year-old “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star and former Olympic athlete is preparing to speak out about his "life changes" as part of an upcoming docu-series.
The program, which recently starting filming for the E! network, will reportedly focus on Bruce’s “very personal” point of view regarding his "process of changing." But he won’t be the only star of the TV show. Members of Bruce’s famous family, including his six kids and ex-wife, Kris Jenner, 59, are also reportedly involved.
While Bruce’s sons and daughters are said to be “extremely supportive” about his alleged new lifestyle, Kris, whose divorce from Bruce was finalized in December, was reportedly not so calm about her ex-husband's big announcement. “One source familiar with the production tells us when Bruce talking openly with the family, at one point Kris ‘lost it,’” TMZ reported.
But it’s not just members of the Kardashian-Jenner family that Bruce is turning to during his speculated transition. According to a report from Radar Online, Cher’s 45-year-old transgender son, Chaz Bono, has also been a support system for the reality star. “Bruce has watched Chaz’s physical transformation with amazement,” a source "close" to Bruce revealed. “He’s fascinated by what’s happened to Chaz and says the results are stunning… They seem to be kindred spirits. They have a real touching relationship.”
Rumors of Bruce’s possible gender transformation first surfaced in October 2013 immediately following the announcement he was separating from Kris after two decades of marriage. The speculation continued after Bruce was spotted sporting manicured fingernails, hair extensions, and most recently, noticeably plumper lips.
Bruce’s step-daughter and co-star, Kim Kardashian, 34, was the last family member to speak out about the transgender rumors. “We support Bruce no matter what,” Kim told Entertainment Tonight Tuesday. “I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share when the time is right… I feel like that’s his journey to talk about.”
