Bruce Jenner Sex-Change Surgery Rumors Not True: Source

Despite media speculation that Bruce Jenner has undergone sex-change surgery, a source close to the family told the New York Daily News that the reports are not true. The former Olympian has not undergone any sexual reassignment surgery till date and he has not talked about it in his new document series either.

“There’s no truth to it whatsoever,” the source said Tuesday. “He’s been working very hard on his docu-series, and there is no surgery involved in the production.” On Tuesday, various websites published stories stating that Jenner underwent the sex change surgery more than three weeks ago. The websites cited unidentified sources that claimed that he was “very happy with the results" after a “difficult healing period.”

The 65-year-old first went public with his gender transition story in a recent ABC News interview with Diane Sawyer. “For all intents and purposes, I am a woman,” the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star told Sawyer, adding that he has indeed undergone hormone therapy for more than a year. However, the reality star added that he was still contemplating reassignment surgery.

Jenner also talked about reassignment surgery during the E! special titled “About Bruce.” His stepdaughter Kim Kardashian said during the show that Jenner might plan the surgery “this year.” When he was asked to respond about having the surgery, Jenner said that it was “kind of the last thing you can do” as there was an “awful lot before that.”

Jenner has, however, been photographed with a new hairstyle. The reality star has changed the color of his hair to blond, Mirror Celeb said.
