Bruce Jenner Slammed By Khloe Kardashian In 'About Bruce' Episode For Not Revealing Transition Earlier

In the first part of an episode titled, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce,” Khloe Kardashian is seen criticizing her stepfather Bruce Jenner after he confesses to planning a sex change in the spring. The episode also contains raw footage of the Kardashian and Jenner children reacting to the news about Bruce.

Khloe is seen gifting her stepfather a pair of shoes and asking him, “Were you planning on not being Bruce anytime soon? When is Bruce going to be gone? Do you have a time frame?” Bruce answers that he planned on formally becoming a woman in the spring, which was nearly five months away at the time of shooting.

“I don’t think it’s fair you don’t tell us how close this is in the near future. It’s not fair for you to not tell your kids this sh*t. We’re still your kids,” Khloe says, according to Radar Online, adding: “I just don’t like when people say Bruce is going to be gone.

“It’s scary when someone says Bruce is going to be gone. You make it feel that way.”

While Khloe’s anger is visible on the show, Kendall Jenner is seen in tears upon hearing the news.

“Dealing with something like this is like a death in the family. It’s a tough transition for the people around you,” Bruce says on the show, according to Radar Online.

Khloe, who accompanies sisters Kourtney and Kim, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, to discuss Bruce's transition together, also reveals on the show that Bruce would dress up like a woman in public at times.

“I found out when he was doing his appearances. He would get dressed and walk around the lobby of his hotel,” she says. “No one knew it was him. I remember I would just be so scared. What if someone catches him?”

Kris Jenner, Bruce's former wife, is also seen in the first part of two episodes, handling the news with some difficulty. “I’m not okay,” Kris tells daughter Kim, Radar Online reported, adding: “I don’t know how to handle this. This is my life and I committed to this life. I think that he just checked out.

“He said he had tendencies like that, but that wasn’t even a discussion that he would in his life end up like this. I have these memories of this life. And I feel like sometimes it didn’t exist.”
