To further seal YouTube’s solicitous event dedicated solely for this year’s graduates, the virtual ceremony will also be joined by some of the media platform’s creators such as Jackie Aina, AsapSCIENCE, Dude Perfect, Zane Hijazi, Heath Hussar, Mr. Kate, and The Try Guys.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, YouTube’s installment of the “Dear Class of 2020” event is aimed at preserving the graduation tradition honoring the mark of each graduating student’s official changeover.

“Graduation is a tradition that students and families look forward to and with the current state of the world, YouTube is lending some inspiration in the form of a virtual commencement,” Susanne Daniels, global head of content for YouTube, stated. “We hope bringing together noteworthy, influential speakers along with performances from some of their favorite artists will provide encouragement for the students who have worked so hard to get here.”

The virtual multi-hour event is scheduled for June 6. The ceremony proper can be streamed on the YouTube Originals channel, as well as YouTube’s Learn@Home site.
