BTS Members Stun In New Teaser Photos, Garner Millions Of Likes In A Day

BTS has shared another round of concept teaser photos for their upcoming digital single titled “Butter.” On Monday, the K-pop group released their second set of promotional snaps for their imminent English-language track, which is set to drop later this week.

The new teaser photos that the South Korean supergroup shared on their official Instagram and Twitter accounts effortlessly garnered millions of likes in less than 24 hours. BTS’ group picture generated over 4.3 million likes on Instagram while it received 1.1 million likes on Twitter with more than 564,000 retweets.

Big Hit Music also released individual teaser photos of each member. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, RM, and V looked stunning in their black and white ensembles as they posed in front of an all-yellow background. The snaps also highlighted the striking new hairdos of the K-pop idols.

“Butter” is scheduled to be released on May 21 at 12 a.m. ET.

In a statement, “Butter” was described as a dance-pop track packed with the suave and charismatic charm of BTS. The upcoming song would also serve as the group’s second English track following the release of “Dynamite” in 2020.

BTS is also believed to be performing the said track for the first time on television at the forthcoming 2021 Billboard Music Awards on May 23 at 8 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, the latest teaser photos followed last week’s teaser clips, which featured the BTS members posing, eating, drinking, and dancing to the tune of a mysterious track. Jungkook was shown in the very first teaser video, wherein he was filmed in a dimly lit room as he spread butter on his toasted bread.

RM, then, appeared on the second video turning a light on and off. Jin’s clip featured the K-pop idol playing around with some yellow balloons with smiley prints on them while Suga’s video showed the rapper taking snaps with a film camera on a dim set.

The third batch of “Butter” teaser clips featured BTS members J-Hope, Jimin, and V. J-Hope was seen holding a yellow lollipop on his video while Jimin posed with a bottle of drink. V, for his part, was sighted dancing and eating sweets.
