Global superstars BTS, Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish are set to perform at this year’s star-studded Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy announced.

The 64th annual Grammy Awards will take place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on April 3 and will be hosted by Trevor Noah. Aside from BTS, Eilish and Rodrigo, the Recording Academy also announced performances from nominees Brothers Osborne, Brandi Carlile and Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow.

BTS’ shared the good news on its Twitter page alongside a clip of the group dancing enthusiastically to “Butter,” a contender for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. The official Twitter page of BTS wrote, “We will be performing at the #GRAMMYs April 3 on @CBS See you on Music's Biggest Night.” Fans shared mixed reactions to the news with many of them praising the septet for yet another golden moment in K-pop.

One fan wrote, “We can't wait!”

Another said, “BTS needs no further recognition, but the Grammy Award Show needs BTS to prove its standing” and tweeted a snap of BTS with the text, “There are many who criticize the Grammys for not nominating BTS in more categories. But at least BTS now has more goals to achieve in the future.”

For the trophy, BTS is facing against Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga for “I Get A Kick Out Of You,” Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco for “Lonely,” Coldplay for “Higher Power” and Doja Cat featuring SZA for “Kiss Me More.”

Meanwhile, Eilish, who already has seven Grammy awards in her stash is nominated in seven categories this year for the track, “Happier Than Ever”. These categories are Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Music Video and Best Music Film for “Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.”

Rodrigo, who is a first-time nominee, is also up for seven Grammy Awards: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Pop Solo Performance for the track, “Drivers License.” She is also nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for “Sour” and Best Music Video “Good 4 U.”

The 64th Grammy Awards will be aired on CBS and will be available for live streaming and on-demand on Paramount+.
