K-pop band BTS has scored three nods for the 65th Grammy Awards, including a nomination for one of their Korean-language tracks.

The septet is vying for the Best Pop Duo/Group performance for the third year in a row for their first collaboration track with Coldplay, "My Universe."

Aside from this, the "Dope" singers are also up for Best Music Video for "Yet To Come," making them the first South Korean artists to be nominated in this category. BTS also got a nod for Album of the Year as featured artists on Coldplay's album, "Music of the Spheres," where rappers Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Hoseok) and band leader RM (Kim Namjoon) are credited as songwriters.

This marks the first time the K-pop superstars have been nominated in more than one category, which is usually populated by collaborations by solo artists with groups and duos.

However, this is not the first time the South Korean pop supergroup is nominated for a Grammy. BTS was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2020 for "Dynamite" and again in 2021 for "Butter," which became Billboard's 2021 Song of the Summer. This makes the chart-topping singers the first artist to be nominated three years in a row in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category since it was introduced in 2011.

BTS fandom, collectively known as ARMY, trooped to Twitter and expressed their excitement for the nominations.

One wrote, "who said: "BTS got nominated only for english songs" HUH Bruhhhh. let me correct this: BTS got nominated only for their talent and hard work. BTS PAVED THE WAY."

Another said, "When people said they can't, they believed they could. Who's going to tell those 7 boys from Korea, one day you will be 5 times Grammy Award-nominated artist?"

Another commenter was happy that a Korean song was noticed for the upcoming Grammys and tweeted, "BTS will join the military as 5x time GRAMMY nominees...First ever Korean song to be nominated...BTS have been serving their country since day 1. No one can lift a finger on my boys and say a word now."

For the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category, BTS is up against ABBA's "Don't Shut Me Down," Camila Cabello and Ed Sheeran's "Bam Bam," Post Malone and Doja Cat's "I Like You (A Happier Song)" and Sam Smith and Kim Petra's "Unholy."

Meanwhile, the contenders for the Best Music Video category are Adele for "Easy on Me," Doja Cat for "Woman," Kendrick Lamar for "The Heart Part 5," Harry Styles for "As It Was" and Taylor Swift for "All Too Well: The Short Film."

The 65th Grammy Awards will be held on Feb. 5, 2023, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
