BTS’s Jungkook’s Wish Comes True At 24, A Look At The Golden Maknae’s Achievements

South Korean boy band BTS’s youngest member Jungkook is celebrating his birthday with a special victory this year as BTS landed its first No.1 on the Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

The K-Pop group’s latest all-English single "Dynamite" which was released on Aug. 21, successfully topped Billboard’s "Hot 100" chart on Jungkook’s 23rd birthday. BTS also became the first K-Pop group to reach the No.1 position on the chart.

Jeon Jungkook, known popularly as Jungkook, was born on Sept. 1, 1997. However, according to the South Korean age system, the Golden Maknae turned 24 years old today.

During an interview with "Birthday Talk To You" in 2016, Jungkook was asked about the age that he looks forward to the most.

To this, Jungkook replied that he was looking forward to being 24 years old.

"I look forward to being around 24 years old the most. I’m very curious about what I will be doing during that time," Jungkook had said.

Moreover, during an interview with MAMA in 2018, Jungkook had also revealed his wish of making it to No.1 on the Billboard’s "Hot 100" chart.

This makes the singer’s birthday even more special as the BTS Army has succeeded in making Jungkook’s wish come true on his most awaited 24th birthday!

The K-Pop star certainly chose a good age to look forward to and has accomplished more than what most people can only dream of, thereby making his fans proud. He debuted as the main vocalist and lead dancer of BTS in 2013, when he was only 15-years-old. The band has gone on to become a global sensation that has now taken over the world by storm.
