The ad was paid for by a group of small business owners who feel like Washington is against them, Mary Teske, the general manager of Schubert & Hoey Outdoor Advertising said, according to MPR. Teske said the group wanted to remain anonymous.
Speculation about the reason for the ad is still unknown. Whether the ad was placed by Obama supporters to remind people how bad was the past administration or If the owners are Bush followers who want to remind voters of better times.
